Yes you heard it right! NASA, you know the big US space agency with far too much free US government money, well they have announced they have found snow on the red planet. 

The Pheonix Mars Lander has been rolling around the surface of the planet Mars for a few months now, and in the past few days has detected snow fall.

NASA tells us that it is an amazing discovery and they will continue to look for evidence of snow fall. 

However don’t think too much about getting the ski goggles on.

The snow melts before it even gets close to the surface.
