I just stumbled across one of the most thought provoking videos I have seen in a long time. The Miniature Earth project aims to show the differences in the worlds population by showing what the world would be like if there was only 100 people living in it.
When you watch the video, you can’t helped but be moved to do something about the world. This video inspires change! I found myself thinking about how lucky I was compared with everyone else in the world. I have a bank account, food, money, a computer… many people do not have these.
Where do you fit in the world if there was only 100 people???
Watch the video below to see what I am talking about, and then forward the link to your friends!
Help spread the word about The Miniature Earth Project!
Today there is a great post by Leo Babauta on his blog Zen Habits. Leo lists his Top 5 Most Inspirational YouTube videos. These type of inspirational stories are exactly why I started Enspri. We need more inspiration and great news in our lives.
Leo’s list is great and so I have re-compiled the list together with my own to hopefully give you some great inspiration for whenever you feel like you need something to pick you up.
1. Free Hugs – Music by Sick Puppies
Free Hugs must be one of the most inspirational videos you will ever see. The concept of just giving someone a hug is so simple yet we hardly give it a thought in our lives. The video has now been seen by over 29 million people worldwide!
2. Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams
I have previously posted about Randy Pausch, however I think he was one of the most inspirational lecturers around. Set yourself some time and watch this video! You will get heaps out of it.
3. Will Smith – Running & Reading (The Key to Life)
This is a great snippet of some advice from Will Smith. Will Smith lists the key to life as Running and Reading. It is amazing to get such grounded advice from someone in Hollywood. Will Smith is a great inspiration. Check it out!
4. Steve Jobs’ 2005 Stanford Commencement Address
Steve Jobs is someone who I think is very inspirational. I posted about him and his struggle with cancer as one of my first posts here on Enspri. This is a speech he gave at Stanford in 2005. It is one of the best bits of advice you might receive.
5. One Red Paper Clip
Check out this amazing video. Kyle MacDonald traded a red paper clip up to a house in 14 trades. It is a great video that shows how small ideas can grow into big ideas really easily. You just have to believe in what you have.
6. Christian the Lion
Many people love the video I posted a while ago about Christian the Lion. The lion who was raised by two Australian guys then released into the wild. After a year they return. Check out what happens next.

11. Famous Failures
Many of the most successful people in the world have failed, or been called a failure. This video lists a few of them. True inspiration with the message that no matter what people say, you can always do great things!
All of the above videos show what people can do with a little bit of hope, and belief in themselves.
Send this page to your friends, or share it on social media and help inspire others. Lets share the inspiration.
UPDATE: An earlier version of this story included a video about ‘bladerunner’ Oscar Pistorius – I’ve removed this due to recent events.
Sometimes it is just time to have a fantastic story, on people who are doing practical things to change the world.
A team of youth from Australia recently travelled to Botswana to build an Orphanage. They are regular people doing something extraordinary for people who need it. It is fantastic to see people going out and actively changing the world! They are all truly inspirational people!
Check out the video below of their efforts, it might just bring a smile to your day.
Everyday I live life with the hope of doing something great. Starting the next Google. Running across Australia for charity. Saving the world from poverty. Finding a cure for cancer.
They are all great goals. However they are more a great vision. Something which I would want the world to be like if I could make it happen.
But how can I actually make a difference TODAY?
You might find yourself in the exact same situation as me. Most of the time we dream of achieving big goals and then become disappointed as we then realise we may not be able to achieve them. We think that a goal is too big for us to reach so we never begin to realise our dream.
Tonight I was watching 60 minutes and one of the stories was on a guy by the name of Nick Vujicic.
From the outset Vujicic is not your ordinary guy. He was born without any arms or legs. A true medical mystery that has never been solved.
How any person could live though his condition and come out on top is amazing. But Vujicic has come out with flying colours. Not only is he living with his condition, but is living his life to the full. In fact he is doing more then most people.
Vujicic is an intensely powerful motivational speaker. He is using his disability as a tool to help others, and to promote his faith.
Just watching the story was really powerful. The determination and spirit displayed by Vujicic is something which I would love to possess.
You can watch the video below to find out more about Vujicic.
